Atlantic Seaboard Luxury Apartment

This three-bedroom apartment on Cape Town’s Atlantic Seaboard began as a warren of dark rooms that obscured its Atlantic Ocean views. Its owner, a talented artist, gave us an open brief: make it beautiful and unlock its potential.

We removed walls to open up the layout and introduced antique mirrored, stackable doors between the main bedroom and living area. That change created a studio-like way of living, with the flexibility to connect or separate the spaces. Every room was gutted, and bespoke joinery became a central part of the transformation.

The decorative direction was Hollywood glamour with a highly curated feel. Nearly every piece was designed and custom-made by our Fyfe & Boyce Approved team. The remaining pieces were selected with equal care, and their placement considered to give each element room to breathe.

The result is a deeply personal home that pairs a more open layout with carefully composed furniture and finishes. The apartment has since been showcased in publications around the world.
