Zimbali Coastal Villa

Set behind the dunes on KwaZulu-Natal’s Dolphin Coast, this award-winning Zimbali villa is home to a young, adventurous family. The interiors reflect that spirit: fresh, welcoming and designed to make coastal living feel effortless.

The brief was about more than creating beautiful rooms. This needed to be a home that felt as easy to live in outdoors as it did inside. Our approach centred on layers of fabric and texture, bringing warmth and individuality to spaces connected to the coastal setting.

Soft upholstery, timber and woven details build a relaxed palette through the living areas, while generous openings connect the rooms with terraces and views. The result balances the ease of a coastal retreat with the comfort of an everyday family home.
